    The Baltic Sea Future congress is located at Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö.
    Address: Mässvägen 1, Älvsjö, Sweden.
    Both buses and commuter trains stop at Älvsjö Station, right next to Stockholmsmässan.

    Airport buses

    The airport buses runs from Arlanda/Bromma to Stockholmsmässan/Cityterminalen in downtown Stockholm.

    Stockholm Arlanda Express
    The fastest way into town from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. It only takes 20 minutes from the airport to the Central Station in Stockholm.
    From Stockholm Central you take the commuter train (lane 13-14) or a Taxi to Älvsjö.

    Commuter train
    An eco-friendly travel option between Arlanda and Stockholmsmässan station. With a new commuter rail line
    you go directly to Stockholmsmässan in just 50 minutes. The train departs two times an hour from Sky City, between terminals 4 and 5.

    There are also 8-14 commuter train departures every hour from Stockholm Central Station to Älvsjö and Stockholmsmässan, with only a 200-meter walk from the Main entrance. The journey takes 10 minutes.

    SL buses
    No. 1, 72 and 76 goes to Frihamnen and the Silja Line Terminal to Stockholm Central Station.

    By car
    Take the E4/E20 and follow the signs for Mässan/Älvsjö.

    By taxi
    Approved taxis with metered fares always wear yellow number plates. Metered fares depending on the time of day but it shouldn’t cost more than SEK 300 to travel 10km. Always ask the driver beforehand. In addition to the major taxi companies there are several independent firms; caution is adviced. We recommend the following companies:

  • Parking

    We have 4,000 parking spaces available for visitors arriving by car. There are 2,000 spaces in our parking garage and in the outdoor spaces surrounding the exhibition center.

    Parking for the disabled
    We have 20 parking spaces close to the Main entrance reserved for those who have a parking permit for disabled people. If you have a permit, parking is free of charge.

    Parking fee 
    The parking fee for a garage space is 40 SEK/hour or 120 SEK for a whole day.

    The parking fee in the outdoor parking is 35 SEK/hour or 100 SEK for a whole day.

    The automatic pay stations accept credit cards.


  • Accessible to everyone

    Stockholmsmässan aims to be accessible to everyone. To ensure this, all our restaurants, congress rooms and exhibition halls have ground-level access. There may be limited access to some of our areas with level differences or events that attract large number of visitors. However elevators are available to all floors. You’re welcome to contact us before your visit if you have any questions.

    Parking spaces
    We have 20 parking spaces close to the Main entrance which are reserved for people with a disabled parking permit. Disabled parking permits are of course valid in all our other parking areas as well. If you have a permit, parking is free of charge.

    A limited number of wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Information Center by the Main entrance – you will need to show valid ID. It is not possible to book wheelchairs in advance.

    Rent an electric scooter

    We have electric scooters which can be hired for a full or a half day. Easy to get around with for those who have a disability or tired legs. The electric scooters cost 250 SEK to rent a day and 150 SEK if you want to rent it for 4 hours.

    There is an Information Center by the Main entrance.

    Stockholmsmässan’s permanent restaurants are accessible to wheelchair users.

    Restrooms for the disabled are available near the entrances, in the exhibition halls and in the galleries.

    A wheelchair-accessible elevator is available in Gallery A. If you need assistance, please contact the Information Center in the Entrance Hall.

    Bank and ATM
    SEB bank is situated in the entrance lobby and is open during large conferences and trade exhibitions. There is one ATM next to the bank and one at the East Entrance. ATM busses are also on site in the halls during larger events. You will also find bank services in Älvsjö Center, only a five-minute walk from Stockholmsmässan.

    Cloak-rooms are located in the entrance lobby, the A- and B-gallery and in the
    C-hall. The cloak-room facilities are subject to a fee.

    Commuter train
    Commuter trains to and from Stockholm Central Station leave 8-12 times per hour. The journey takes approximately nine minutes. Tickets for SL trains and busses may be purchased at Stockholmsmässan. The ticket machines are located in the lobby by the Main entrance.

    Disability access
    The restaurants, the conference halls and the exhibition halls are all accessible for disabled visitors. We have 20 parking spaces close to the Main entrance which are reserved for people with a disabled parking permit. Disabled toilets are available on the premises. Wheelchairs are available at the Information desk for a deposit.

    Elevators are situated by the A-gallery, the East Entrance and in the B-hall.

    Located between the A- and B-gallery, behind Pressbyrån.

    Nursing rooms
    Stockholmsmässan has nursing rooms on the venue.

    Stockholmsmässan has 4,000 parking spaces available for visitors arriving by car. There are 2,000 spaces in our parking garage and the rest you find in the outdoor spaces surrounding the exhibition center.

    Parking fees are as follows:

    - Indoor parking 40 SEK per hour or 120 SEK per day.

    - Outdoor parking 35 SEK per hour or 100 SEK per day

    On the automatic pay stations there is a button marked "utställare" (exhibitor), by using this the exhibitor can buy a ticket for SEK 250 valued for six days. The automatic pay stations accept credit cards.

  • FAQ

    Our Visitor Service answer questions about our venue and our exhibitions on a daily basis. We have compiled some of the most frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit in the best possible way.

    Do you have an ATM?
    Yes, we have two ATMs in the Entrance Hall and one at the East entrance. As long queues tend to form for the ATM during our popular public weekends, we strongly advise you to take out money before your visit.

    When the bank is closed, Älvsjö town centre is just a five-minute walk from Stockholmsmässan. There is also an ATM there.

    Which cards do you accept in your checkouts?
    We accept Amex, Diners, Mastercard, Visa and Maestro. We also accept the following currencies in our entrance booths: Euros, Norwegian kroner, Danish kroner, British Pounds and US Dollars.

    Where is the nearest pharmacy?
    The kiosk in the entrance hall (Pressbyrån) have a few offerings. There is also a pharmacy in Älvsjö town centre, and one i the supermarket Willys, both within a five-minute walk from Stockholmsmässan.

    Do you have children’s strollers to borrow?
    Yes, there are strollers you can borrow from the Information Center in the Entrance Hall. You will need to be able to show valid ID to borrow a stroller and it is not possible to book them in advance.

    Do you have lockers?
    Yes, we have a small number of lockers in Gallery A. A small locker costs 20 SEK and a large locker costs 30 SEK.

    Do you have checkroom facilities and does it cost anything to use them?
    There are checkrooms by the Entrance Hall in the Hall A and Hall B gallery, in Hall C and next to the Congress Foyer. You will be charged for using the checkrooms.

    Do you have an elevator?
    Yes, we have an elevator in Gallery A.

    Are you allowed to bring your dog to exhibitions?
    Dogs are not allowed to accompany their owners inside the exhibition center: The only exception we make is for assistance dogs. Obviously, show dogs are allowed into our dog shows.

    Do you have a kiosk-style newsagent?
    There is a Pressbyrå kiosk in the Entrance Hall.

    Do you have a sickroom?
    Yes, we have a sickroom at Stockholmsmässan. It is located between Gallery A and B, behind the Pressbyrå kiosk.

    Do you have a special room for nursing mothers?
    There is no special room for nursing mothers at Stockholmsmässan.

    Can I pay cash at the automatic pay stations?
    Yes, you can pay cash. There are money-changing machines by the Main and East entrances.
